Data protection officer
The data protection officer draws up a data protection concept and supports the client in introducing the necessary measures. He or she also answers any questions that arise on the subject of data privacy and conducts annual data privacy training. As a competent contact person for all data protection issues, the data protection officer ensures that guidelines, agreements and data protection concepts are drawn up, that the defined protective measures are implemented and that advice is provided during ongoing operations. He fulfills all legal duties of a company data protection officer according to § 4g BDSG and Art. 39 DSGVO.
In particular, the following activities are performed:
IS-Assessment:
- Audit of all relevant data protection documents
- Audit of the conditions on site, as well as the measures already implemented
- Interviews with management, department heads and employees
- Review of the procedures in which personal data are processed
- Creation of an action plan with recommendations for action
- Presentation of the action plan
After recording the current status, legal requirements that are not or only partially fulfilled are implemented in consultation with the management (this may result in additional expenses in addition to the annual flat rate).
Introduction of data protection measures:
- Creation of procedure directories
- Creation of guidelines (e.g. business cell phones, use of e-mail/Internet)
